About Us
FiA Nation
Our Mission: FiA stands for Females in Action, which is a community of women dedicated to making each other stronger in all areas of our lives through activities that include bodies, minds, and hearts. A FiA workout is a promise, always free, open to ALL women, held outdoors, and ends with a circle of trust.
- Bodies - We organize FREE, peer-led workouts each week. Workouts are held outdoors rain or shine, hot or cold. Our workouts are Outdoor Bootcamp Fitness style workouts.
- Minds - We get together for book clubs, career and family discussion groups, or workshops.
- Hearts - We give our time and resources to the community and invest in each other by joining together for coffee, weekday lunches, and FiA socials.
Workouts
Locations/Times
Our workouts are HIIT and Bootcamp style for the most part. We do have sites with weights and we try to get some weight training in as well (see tues/thurs locations). Our workouts are always 1 hour. We warm up, workout for about 45 min, and then cool down and stretch. We are peer led, so every workout is a little different and each person brings their own flair and passions to their workout. We strongly encourage women to modify as needed and listen to their bodies. We have women of all ages (18-70!) and fitness levels.
Additionally we have recently launched a walking site on thursday evenings. Come get a good walk in and meet us!!! See our list of workout location and times below.
We encourage you to just show up! No need to register! We are always excited to see a new face. When you arrive at the site...look for our FiA flags! We always post our flag at a site so you can find us!
